Where Am I At? - GPS Maps App App Reviews

Very handy when traveling or out for a Sunday afternoon ride. Next project is to test on large acreage boundaries.

Im an over the road truck driver. When Im stopped, and I want to know where I am, I tap on Where Am I At. I always know where I am. When my co driver is behind the wheel, Ill bring up the app from the sleeper, and I know where I am instantly. It uses map, satellite image or both. It even gives you latitude and longitude. Want to know your exact location? Where Am I At will tell you.

Great app that works very well, except the elevation reading is way off. Im at 52 feet according to a survey plat, the app shows 142 feet.

This was a really great app until they added ads!!!

My work depends on accuracy. Your os 10 version has lost it. The altitude via my os 9 reads,correctly, 55 feet. With version 10 it first said 226 feet and then 9 feet! This is without me moving off of my spot. The address guess was off by half a mile.

Great location utility. The share feature is excellent. Only one feature request; the ability to "drop a pin" and get that locations coordinates would be fantastic! No other map applications that I have found can easily/simply do this. Coordinates are so much more accurate for GPS applications than just giving someone a street address. Keep up the good work!

LATEST VERSION: I like the layout of the new version even more than the previous version. Still a great app! ORIGINAL REVIEW: I used to have an app that would show what county youre in, but its no longer available. I stumbled across this one that does the same thing. Very useful to know what county youre in if youre traveling and you get around thunderstorms in an unfamiliar area.

The map area is smaller now. I vote to put it back like it was.

I really like the layout of this app loads better than the previous version. I would recommend this app to anybody like myself who is interested in the altitude of their location and where their exact location is.

Have not had the app long, that is why I could not give it 5 stars quite yet, but it seems great so far. App is very accurate with location, but would be nice to be able to drop a pin anywhere and get that address.

Im sitting in my den and this app says my address is: 1304 W Ellis, Naperville, IL The house # is off by about 100 and there is no such street as Ellis in Naperville, IL
